They had an array of options for vegan, gluten free, and meat options. For being a small space it still felt very comfortable. They were quick to fill up the buffet when it got close to being empty. Delicious all the way around!
This is my favorite indian restaurant in portland. The food is so good. I have tried all the classics but also would highly recommend the catfish. The service has always been excellent. The ambiance is good. I honestly don't know why this place isn't busier given the food and the location.
I was so excited to find a place that still does lunch buffet, and this made all my dreams come true. I wanted to try everything and almost managed - I had naan with raita and 2 chutneys, chicken curry, butter chicken, biryani, eggplant curry, dal, and channa masala. Everything was delicious and nicely spiced. The only hard part was stopping eating. I will definitely be back!
Their food is so delicious and I just love the dining room. The service is helpful and friendly. The menu has vegan options clearly marked - - It's nice to have several gluten-free dairy-free options to choose from. Yummy pakoras and delicious dosas to name a few. And they make a delicious Mango Madness cocktail. The bathroom is in the back thru the curtain. It's street parking, sometimes there's space right out front and sometimes you have to park down the block.
Excellent food every time, clean and pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. My favourite Indian food in Portland. They also have a cool classy but not pretentious bar area.
Just finished lunch here and it was my first time stopping in. The lunch special was an amazing deal for $15 and included a ton of food. I got the Palak Paneer. Everything was incredibly flavorful. Our server was kind and attentive. I would highly recommend this place!
Tasty Indian comfort food for those wet Portland evenings! My sister and I both chose the Thali for bhengan bartha and CTM. It was fun to have lots of tastes and plenty of naan. We even had leftovers. I would recommend getting this if you're not sharing several items with a group. The restaurant is cozy and the service was friendly and prompt. They seemed to have a nice selection of drinks and a wine list, but we stuck to water on that particular weeknight. I would definitely recommend.
